Abstract

This article analyzes the application of woven materials made from bazalt fibers in construction and geotechnical engineering. The necessity of using durable and modern materials to mitigate problems caused by floods, mudflows, and drifting sands is substantiated. The high mechanical strength of bazalt fibers, as well as their resistance to aggressive environments, moisture, temperature fluctuations, and ultraviolet radiation, make them superior to traditional materials. The study also considers the use of bazalt fiber-based bags and geotextiles for riverbank protection, road infrastructure safety, and stabilization of geotechnical structures. The results show that the practical implementation of these materials ensures high technical efficiency and economic benefits.
