The Use of Technology in English Language teaching

This article explores the integration of technology in English language teach-ing (ELT), examining its impact on teaching methodologies, learner engagement, and language acquisition. It provides a comprehensive review of current technological tools such as computer-assisted language learning (CALL), mobile applications, and virtual classrooms that facilitate interactive and personalized learning experiences. The study synthesizes findings from recent empirical research to evaluate the effec-tiveness of technology-enhanced ELT, addressing both benefits and challenges. It also discusses best practices for educators to optimize technological resources in diverse educational contexts. Ultimately, the article highlights the transformative potential of technology in enhancing English language proficiency and teaching efficacy.
