About the Journal
Aims and Scope
The Central Asian Journal of Integrative Innovation (CAJII) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal on innovation in education. It publishes original research, reviews and well-documented practice reports that help teachers, teacher educators, researchers and policy makers improve learning, with a particular interest in Central Asia.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
- digital learning, educational technology and artificial intelligence in education;
- teacher education and professional development;
- STEM/STEAM education and the teaching of mathematics, informatics and the sciences;
- language and literacy education;
- assessment, curriculum design and learning outcomes;
- educational psychology, inclusive and special education;
- higher education, educational management and policy;
- history and philosophy of education, when connected to present-day practice.
Manuscripts outside education (for example, pure natural science, engineering or literary history without an educational focus) are returned to the authors without review.

Peer Review
Every submission is first checked by the editors for scope, basic quality and originality (similarity check). Manuscripts that pass this check are sent to at least two independent reviewers under a double-blind model: reviewers do not know the authors and authors do not know the reviewers. The Editor-in-Chief takes the final decision on the basis of the reviews. Possible decisions are accept, minor revision, major revision or reject.
Publication Ethics
CAJII follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate submission and undisclosed use of generative AI to write the manuscript are not accepted. Concerns about published articles are handled through corrections, expressions of concern or retractions, as appropriate.
Open Access, Copyright and Fees
All articles are freely available immediately upon publication under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license. Authors retain the copyright to their work. CAJII currently charges no submission or publication fees. Any future change to this policy will be announced on this page before it applies to new submissions.
Archiving and Indexing
Each published article receives a DOI and its full text is archived in Zenodo (CERN). Article metadata are openly available through the OAI-PMH interface and can be harvested by scholarly search services. The journal lists here only the services it actually participates in.
